Tender description

FirstGroup is seeking a Supplier to provide the following ‘WAN’ and ‘Voice and Messaging’ Services in the UK. The contract will be for a duration of 3 years with the option to extend it up to an additional 2 years. WAN Service:- FirstGroup is seeking a Network Communications Supplier to provide, operate and support its Wide Area Network in the UK. The network will be capable of providing IP to any connectivity, supporting data of all types, with the possible expansion to include voice. The provision of the network is to cover 375 sites in our UK Bus, UK Rail and UK Group Businesses. Voice and Messaging Service:- The current franchised FirstGroup Railway Operating companies are seeking a supplier to provide a Fully Managed Voice and messaging Service. The required service will be optimised for the UK Rail Industry and meet, as a minimum, the current specification and standards of the Railnet system which is currently widely in use in the UK Rail network. The scope will be approximately 1 925 Extensions across 209 sites across the Rail estate with the possibility of expansion.
