Refuse collection services

Tender description

Cannock Chase District Council are looking to appoint a provider to deliver a three container kerbside waste collection service compromising; a) Residual waste; b) Organic (garden and food) waste; c) Dry recyclables. The objectives of the service are to: — provide high quality cost effective services that maximises the amount of waste segregated for reuse; recycling and composting; — encourage high levels of recycling and waste minimisation; — minimise contamination for all waste streams forming part of the contract; — creates no detrimental impact on the residents of the district by adhering to collection, emptying and return of bin standards, minimising missed bins, preventing spillage and protection of the vicinity environment.
