QU021 - Provision of SENAR Operational Lead

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of a SENAR Operational Lead. Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review (SENAR) undertakes the Local Authorities duty to assess children and young people with Special Educational Needs. This is an opportunity to join the service as we continue to develop our response to the 2014 SEN Code of Practice. As SENAR Operational Lead you will be responsible for the effective delivery of the service and support the SENAR Head of Service to implement our current programme of change. This is an interim position while we recruit into role permanently. The contract will be for a period of 6 months and will commence from w/c 21 March 2016 until 2 September 2016 with the possible option to extend. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this framework and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest and download details.
