Tender description

Warwickshire County Council have awarded contracts for the provision of Postal Collection Services. The contract is for a 2 year term with extension options for a further 24 months. The Procurement was broken into 2 lots including: Next day delivery; All other services. The procurement used pricing data held on Crown Commercial Service website to determine bidders ability to provide the required provision and evaluate based on cost. The Lot 1 provision is to provide Next Day Delivery services. A Direct Award was possible to be made using Crown Commercial Services Framework RM1063. Tendered pricing was used against previous quantities to establish a contract cost. The Contract cost for each supplier was evaluated to reach a selection decision. The Lot 2 provision is to provide a All Other services. This included: Non-machine readable — letter economy; Non-machine readable — large letter economy; Machine readable — letter economy. Other Services including signed for, compensation, special delivery at specific times. A Direct Award was possible to be made using Crown Commercial Services Framework RM1063. Tendered pricing was used against previous quantities to establish a contract cost. The Contract cost for each supplier was evaluated to reach a selection decision.
