PAN1225 - Calibration Contract for 4 Noise Monitoring Recorders

Leicester City Council Local Services and Enforcement department require a suitably experienced contractor to calibrate contract for 4 noise monitoring recorders. The contract duration for this would be a 5 year calibration contract that is expected to take place from (April 2016 to Mar 2021) for the noise monitoring recorders. The recorders are used when the noise complained of is occurring outside the times of our Noise and Pollution Monitoring Service or is of such short duration (e.g. bumps and bangs) that officers are unable to attend and witness the noise when it’s occurring. The calibration contract for 4 of these meters and their calibrators ends in Mar 16 and requires renewal. Recordings from the equipment are used in legal proceedings. The equipment cannot be used unless they are calibrated in line with relevant guidance. Keywords: Calibration, Noise Recorders
