Meal delivery service

Tender description

Drivers and meal assistants are required to deliver the Meals on wheels service utilising the vehicles provided. The meals will be delivered to vulnerable people living in the community using a Meals on Wheels regeneration vehicles. Drivers and Meals assistants are required for the delivery of up to 40 meals per round in a delivery window of 11:30 to 13:45, 365 days per year. The round details will be provided by the Meals on Wheels service. The contract is in 2 lots covering different areas of the city. The areas not covered by this contract are covered by internal resources. This Lot requires just a driver. Please refer to the tender documentation for full details of the postcodes covered. The vehicles to deliver the meals will be provided by the Meals on Wheels service. Requests for documentation should not be made by telephone or e-mail. The documentation should be completed and returned by no later than the deadline specified in IV.2.2) Late submissions will not be accepted. This Lot requires a Driver and a Meals Assistant.
