Maintenance and Repair of Specified Vehicle and Equipment

Tender description

Tenders are invited from suitable organisations with experience in maintenance and repair of light and heavy vehicles mainly up to 7,500 kgs GVW or similar fleet maintenance contracts. This contract will allow the City Council to access vehicle maintenance services for approximately 62 vehicles that are not covered by other arrangements such as contract hire or extended warranty. The successful contractor will not be the sole agent that maintains council vehicles that are not subject to other agreements. The Authority operates a large and varied fleet of vehicles, plant and trailers. These include specialist vehicles suitably equipped to perform the tasks demanded by a large urban Local Authority such as e.g. Social Services welfare provision, Mobiles, Leisure Services, Pest Control, together with various vans, basic minibuses and Liverpool Schools that operate minibuses. NOTE – specialist vehicles such as refuse collection & street cleansing are NOT part of this contract. Keywords: Repair, Vehicle Maintenance
