Tender description
Background: In June 2013 the Government set out the allocation of European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF), including ESF money for the full 7-year period. The allocation was divided across LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) areas in England, with funds being distributed and managed by the ESF Managing Authority (MA). LEPs have an advisory role and they documented their local/strategic needs in an ESIF Strategy. Swindon and Wiltshire: This Provision is voluntary and will aim to tackle worklessness by moving the maximum number of unemployed and inactive people in the target groups into sustained employment. It will engage these people and provide a package of help and support to address and overcome barriers to employment. The Provider is expected to deliver the Provision across the whole of the Swindon and Wiltshire unitary authority areas which is co-terminus with the Swindon and Wiltshire LEP area.
