Tender description

Bristol City Council (BCC) on behalf of the Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council and North Somerset Council is seeking to tender the supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault rectification of Passenger Ticketing Information Points at the MetroBus stops which shall contain a number of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) elements. These elements include: ? One display for real time information (RTI) for passengers, including RNIB REACT3 audio functionality; ? A second display with an interactive touch-screen for product vending selection, other transport, local council and other website/portal information; ? At least one smartcard reader; ? Payment mechanisms for contactless payment cards, chip and PIN payments and smartcard e-Purse; ? Vending of smartcards (standard or lo-cost), paper tickets and receipts; and ? An emergency help point for passengers with a two-way voice link to an emergency control centre (ECC).
