Tender description

The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Corporate Information and Computing Services for a Digital Audio-Visual Media Hosting and Delivery System. The University wishes to maximise its use of audio visual media to support and promote the University's mission across all its main strategic areas. Specifically, this is in the key areas of learning and teaching, dissemination of research, public engagement and marketing/promotional activities. Broadly speaking, we have divided this into 2 key areas: — Learning and teaching; — The University's broader digital presence. We see that the ability for staff and students to easily search for, retrieve, share, reuse, repurpose and collaborate on the use of media content, is a key enabler to achieve our aims, and so we are looking for a solution that will easily facilitate this. The closing date for return of tenders is Tuesday, 5.4.2016 at 12:00 (UK time).
