Tender description

This is a Contract Award Notice. This purpose of this tender was to establish a Single Party Framework Agreement for the James Hardiman Library, NUI Galway for the provision of Archive Digitisation Services including: digitisation, cataloguing and online publication of rare and historic archival collections with cultural heritage significance. The collections will be of varying origin, age, condition and scale, incorporating a range of formats, media and languages; preparation of material for digitisation; utilisation and configuration of digital asset management systems; compliance with standards for archives, digitisation, metadata, preservation and other aspects; implementation of effective digital rights management and redaction systems. The Single Party Framework Agreement will be established for 2 years, with the option to extend annually for another 2 years.
