Tender description
Staffordshire County Council, on behalf of a number of Local Authorities in the West Midlands, is looking to engage providers in developing supported accommodation services for 16-17 year-olds via a framework agreement. In preparation for this new agreement, we are holding an Engagement Event. The discussions and feedback from the event will help inform the development of the framework agreement which is to be implemented on or around 1.11.2016. Date: 7th March 10:00. Venue: The Studio, Cannon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP (Sat Nav B4 7LN or B4 7LX). If you are interested in attending the event please e-mail Miranda Smith on miranda.smith@staffordshire.gov.uk by the 26.2.2016. Due to limited capacity we may have to limit attendees to one per organisation. We look forward to seeing you there. A draft service specification has been prepared and is available on request. This will inform you of our expectations and we also would welcome your views on this draft document. The final version of the specification will be shaped in part by the feedback and discussions from the engagement event. To obtain a copy of the draft Specification, please contact John Tapsell via email (john.tapsell@staffordshire.gov.uk). At this stage the value of the agreement is an indicative estimate based on current projections. Additionally, the list of participating local authorities is indicative and may change prior to the framework agreement being formally advertised later this year. It is anticipated that the framework agreement will last for 4 years in total. This is likely to include an initial period of 2 years, with 2 12-month extension periods available, subject to operational and performance requirements.
