Brief for corporate communication support The communications mission of Innovate UK is to ensure that it is recognised and respected as the organisation uniquely positioned to accelerate UK economic growth by driving innovation. This includes ensuring that it explains its role and activities clearly, accessibly and in an engaging and inspiring way to all its stakeholders, and encourages businesses to innovate and grow with its help. At the start of this new funding period (2016-20) Innovate UK needs to communicate its role as the innovation agency with authority and impact. Innovate UK is seeking a corporate communications agency to provide support in the production of a range of key strategic publications and materials for the financial year 2016/17 (with an option for a further year). A number of different projects can be defined specifically at this point, and there may also be other requirements for additional materials to support our communication objectives. The projects for which we have a specific requirement already defined are the annual report and accounts, the annual delivery plan, sector strategies, and government briefings. While some key corporate documents such as the Delivery Plan are printed in modest quantities, our primary communication channels are online. And even for documents that are printed, we seek additional assets and ways to bring the content to life online – whether chunked infographic tiles that can be used on social media, video clips or other techniques.
