Tender description

This contract is for the purchase of 4 new Wheeled Loader Vehicles to replace existing vehicles which are at the end of their economically serviceable life. The loaders are used at the Council's four Winter Depots to undertake salt piling, Winter Spreader loading and general Highways bulk handling requirements. A single Economic Operator will be awarded the contract and this will be the company who achieves the highest score against the Award Criteria. Full details of the specification are set out in the ‘Specification Checklist’ document and the vehicles are to be supplied to that specification. Where no specified requirement is stated then the manufacturer's standard specification appropriate to the required performance and compatible with the defined elements of the Specification is required. Any vehicle that does not meet the minimum specification levels stated in the Specification Checklist will be excluded from the procurement process.
