Supply of Equipment Components for UPS Systems

Tender description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) is seeking expressions of interest from suitable suppliers of UPS equipment. Following a previous competitive tender process, IE has replaced UPS systems throughout its Telecoms and Signalling networks as part of an obsolescence renewals programme. The equipment that has been installed throughout the network is based on Eltek technology. A maintenance regime has been designed and implemented and a centralised network management system has been established also, both based on Eltek UPS equipment. IE now intends to establish a long term supply agreement (3 years) for UPS equipment to continue with obsolescence renewals and for new installations. If a candidate proposes to supply equipment that is not based on Eltek technology, then it must be clearly demonstrated in the Pre Qualification Questionnaire, that the candidate has the necessary experience and capability to supply UPS equipment that is proven to be compatible with and which will seamlessly interface with the Eltek UPS equipment currently in place. Interested candidates are required to download, complete and return the attached Pre Qualification Questionnaire in accordance with the instructions set out in the PQQ document.
