Stress Free Temperature (SFT) Measurement

Tender description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has a requirement to procure a service to carry out in track, non destructive, non intrusive measurements to determine the Stress Free Temperature (SFT) on continuous welded rail, CWR track sections at selected locations on the IÉ Network. The method of measurement must provide a high output and high accuracy results/track section. The method of measurement and equipment used must be beyond the “trial stage” and have been used successfully on other EU Railways. Testimonials must be provided to demonstrate the successful use on other EU Railways. Interested candidates must submit a written expression of interest (EoI) directly to sinead.leonard@irishrail.ie.
