Tender description

3.3.1. The Council wishes to appoint suitable consultancy services to; (i) [Stage 1] Assessment of the requirement and recommendation for the appropriate CHP(s) to be fitted to the facility including the cost benefit analysis, acknowledging the balance of maximum power generation, the power distribution risks to the facility and the enabling works for the solution. Access for internal and any external works should be identified. Consideration should also be given to other technologies and the distribution of power and the risks associated with it the suggested solution. The recommendation should include amendments to the existing Trend building management system appropriate to the equipment. (ii) [Stage 2] Specifying all works to tender stage, preparation of PQQ and GBC tender documents and JCT contracts ready for tendering and evaluating tenders. Consideration of the use of Frameworks should be made. (iii) [Stage 3] Provision of all contract administration services from brief to final account, including supervision of any work on site. Provision of all Principal designer duties. 3.3.2 The Council, in these documents, is seeking a lump sum fee bid for the whole of the work, including CDM Principal Designer services.
