Tender description

The company engaged for this contract will need to familiarise themselves with The Atkinson, which is a complex building and offers several roosting places for pigeons and gulls. Without a regular deterrent and removal of the birds, numbers quickly escalate and the fabric of the building deteriorates, while also causing a public nuisance and a risk to health. We are looking for a company to provide an effective and humane deterrent which will entail weekly visits using, for example, birds of prey and torch lamps. The approved company will report to The Atkinson on arrival and on departure and will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the public, The Atkinson’s staff and their own operatives. The Atkinson is open to the pblic seven days a week and the work would need to be undertaken outside normal operating hours. Keywords: Pigeon, Hawk, Pest
