HM Treasury as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a Contract for use by UK public sector bodies identified at VI.3) (and any future successors to these organisation). The Research Library service enables access to external sources of information required to allow officials to create evidence-based policy and maintain current awareness where they have a business requirement. The contract will incorporate the provision of a tailored and comprehensive media monitoring service, searchable news database, market data and companies information. The contract has a single operator. The duration of the contract is in year(s): 1 + 1 + 1 — that is a 1 year contract with an option to extend at the end of each year.
