Tender description

West Sussex County Council is seeking to consult with interested organisations on the future provision of the 0-19yr Healthy Child Programme (and up to 25 years for those with a Special Educational Need or Disability) across West Sussex. The Council has identified the following outcomes for The Healthy Child Programme (HCP), these are linked to the West Sussex Children and Families Plan: a) Children and young people get the best start in life, they are physically and emotionally healthy. b) Children and young people are safe and secure. c) Families are resilient and able to access support when they need it. d) Children, young people and families succeed in learning, work and life. In addition the current HCP is explicitly linked to outcomes for children, young people and families contained within the National Public Health Outcomes framework. Our aspiration is that the future HCP will be capable of delivering the best range of services which meet or exceed all of these outcomes. The yearly budget for the service has not yet been finalised.
