Tender description
Design and Build Contract to deliver: The scheme provides for the rehabilitation of the 3.4 km of twin 900 mm diameter 4 sewers including; — the construction of a new buried inlet penstock chamber; — a new buried gatevalve chamber; — repair works to 2 underground tunnels and 5 access shafts for the Liffey Siphons; — associated minor works to hatch-boxes; — the replacement of 2 nr 900 mm diameter flow-meters; — demolition of the above ground portion of the existing outlet chamber; — the removal and disposal of all sludge within the siphon system; — the cleaning, jetting and CCTV surveying of the rehabilitated siphon system.
