Tender description

Contractors will be required to provide a customer focused service and show a commitment to providing effective services that provide quality and value for money for the organization and their customers. The contract will be split into 2 Lots based on geographical location as per the table below: Lot Anticipated Value (Exc VAT) East 77 500 — 189 500 GBP; West 52 500 — 128 000 GBP; Anticipated values reflect costs ranging from a 2 year to 4 year contract which will be dependant on an extension being awarded. Contractors are able to bid for both Lots however contractors will have to demonstrate capacity to carry out the service per Lot at Stage 2. Works required under all contract lots will relate to internal cleaning of communal areas in residential developments and will include (but will not be exclusive of) washing, sweeping and hoovering of floors and stairs, cleaning down and dusting of internal surfaces including banisters, windows, walls and doors. A full specification and terms and conditions will be provided at tender stage. Contractor/s will be required to provide a customer focused service and show a commitment to providing effective services that provide value for money to Loreburn HA, D and G Homes and their customers whilst aiding Loreburn in achieving the requirements set out in the Scottish Social Housing Charter. The contracts will include KPI's which will be monitored and reported to Loreburn's Management Committee and will be subject to review by Loreburn and may be amended in line with the Scottish Social Housing Charter requirements. Failure to comply with the KPIs may result in financial penalties and/or early termination of the contract. Further details will be confirmed to bidders at Stage 2.
