Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) Specialist Support Service

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced provider to deliver a Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) Specialist Support Service for children across Nottinghamshire (excluding Nottingham City). Child Sexual Exploitation and Child Sexual Abuse exist in all communities. They are areas of concern and have a high profile both nationally and within Nottinghamshire, where there is a commitment to providing affected children with relevant support. The aim of the service is to assist/enable children to move towards a safer and more settled lifestyle and recover from sexual exploitation and/or sexual abuse by: • increasing the number of children at risk of, or victim to CSE, accessing quality support • reducing the number of children experiencing CSE in Nottinghamshire through preventative strategies • increasing the numbers of children identified at an earlier stage • providing therapeutic services to minimise the effects of abuse / exploitation on mental health and emotional well-being • promoting resilience and reduce vulnerability to further abuse The service will complement and where appropriate, link with existing services and support provided in Nottinghamshire.
