Building construction work. The MOD (DIO) is seeking to create a Framework or Frameworks with the ability to deliver Capital Works Projects, over the next 10 years, within Nuclear Facilities on the Clyde mainly Faslane and Coulport locations. The current programme of works can be split into 3 main areas: a. Major refurbishment of multiple complex systems within live secure and operational environment; b. Relatively complex discrete new build in secure area within nuclear environment; c. Relatively non-complex discrete new build in lower security area but within nuclear environment. In order for the DIO to access the market ability to deliver the current programme of works it is seeking early engagement with industry to explore the structure of the Framework(s) required. DIO is therefore planning to hold an Industry Day during the month of April 2016 and you are therefore invited to confirm your interest to the POC by the 11.3.2016.
