Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the establishment of a Framework Agreement for the provision of housing related support in the community across the Isle of Wight. This tender specifically relates to the provision of housing related support in the community and not the provision of accommodation. The Framework Agreement is to run from 1.4.2016 for a maximum period of 4 years, dependant on future funding, at the sole discretion of the Council. The provider will be required to support the service users with housing related support tasks to maintain their independence. Tasks will include but are not limited to: budget management, avoiding homelessness, maximising income, looking for work/training, correspondence and debts. This may include people who are homeless, housing association tenants, living in sheltered accommodation, private tenants or homeowners. The provider will be expected to ensure that support is provided at an appropriate time to meet the needs of the service user; this may not be limited to 9 am – 5 pm or weekdays only. The Framework Agreement is divided into nine Lots and it is anticipated that the top three ranked providers, following the tender evaluation, will be appointed to each Lot. The Lots are: — Lot 1 — Housing related support in the community for male and females aged 55 years plus. — Lot 2 — Housing related support in the community for male and females aged 18 years plus, with a physical or sensory disability. — Lot 3- Housing related support in the community for male and females aged 18 years plus with learning disabilities. — Lot 4 - Housing related support in the community for male and females aged 18 years plus, with needs associated to mental health issues. — Lot 5 - Housing related support in the community, for male and females aged 18 years plus, with needs associated with alcohol and/or substance misuse. — Lot 6 - Housing related support in the community for male and females aged 18 years plus, who are homeless or at threat of homelessness. — Lot 7 - Housing related support in the community for male and females aged 18 years plus who have experienced domestic violence. — Lot 8- Housing related support in the community for young parents between the ages of 16 — 25 years old. — Lot 9 - Housing related support in the community for young male and females aged 16 — 25 years old.
