Request for Quotation for the Provision of Seasonal Entertainment at Medina Theatre

Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council is looking for provider(s) to deliver a seasonal pantomime at Medina Theatre for the 2016 - 2018 Christmas periods seasons 2016, 2017 and 2018, with an option to extend for up to a further two years at the sole discretion of the Council (seasons 2019 and 2020). The contract is expected to start 02 May 2016; between the contract award and the 2016 rehearsals/performances the provider will be required to arrange all aspects of the 2016 shows; to include liaison with the manager at Medina Leisure Centre and Theatre regarding all operational aspects. Medina Theatre is a community facility located in Newport and managed by the staff at Medina Leisure Centre providing a facility for both community hires and in-house events. The facility is shared with Medina High School. It has a separate licensed bar and an auditorium seating up to 425 patrons.
