Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council invites quotes from suitably qualified providers for the provision of Seasonal Entertainment at Medina Theatre. The contract is to run during the Christmas periods of 2016 – 2018 with the option to extend for up to a further two years at the sole discretion of the Council. The contract is expected to start 02 May 2016; between the contract award and the 2016 rehearsals/performances the provider will be required to arrange all aspects of the 2016 shows; to include liaison with the manager at Medina Leisure Centre and Theatre regarding all operational aspects. Medina Theatre is a community facility located in Newport and managed by the staff at Medina Leisure Centre providing a facility for both community hires and in-house events. The facility is shared with Medina High School. It has a separate licensed bar and an auditorium seating up to 425 patrons. Keywords: Pantomime, Christmas, Performance
