Repair and maintenance services of electrical and mechanical building installations

Tender description

The contract is for the periodic inspection and testing of Fixed Electrical Installations leading to the completion and issue of an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) to include the associated schedules of inspection and schedules of test results all in accordance with BS 7671:2008+A3(2015) Requirements for Electrical Installations — IET Wiring Regulations, Seventeenth Edition and any amendments and revision which take effect during the course of this contract. Prospective tenderers must be registered with and provide evidence of NICEIC or SELECT or equivalent membership. This contract shall cover fixed electrical installations within Business Units and their associated buildings, owned by The Highland Council and within The Highland Council geographical area. The contract shall ensure that they are appropriately inspected, tested and all faults reported to achieve a safe useable condition per statutory legislative authority, EU/BS standards, manufacturer's printed instruction and other guidance/reference literature.
