Tender description

Clare County Council are seeking to appoint an Architect led design team and is now inviting expressions of interest from applicants that wish to be considered for the tender stage. The team will be required to provide full services stages feasibility to handover stage as per requirements of Capital Works Management Framework.The brief proposes the development of a Masterplan for Doolin Pier & Design of Doolin Visitor Services Facilities Building at Doolin, Co. Clare for Clare County Council. Further information is attached in Appendix 1 Project Scope Information and site location in Appendix 2. To register their interest in the tender stage, applicants are required to complete Suitability Assessment Questionaires (SAQ's) for each principle service. The onus rests with the applicant to provide all details relevant to the services required. All applicants must provide the information required under the relevant headings, in the spaces provided, and in the format requested. The architect led design team to be appointed on foot of the second(tender) stage of the competition will be responsible for the design and implementation of the development works as required by Clare County Council. The Design Team must include the following disciplines/ services: 1. Architectural Services (incorporating PSDP as a specialist skill) 2.Quantity Surveyor(s) 3. Mechanical & Electrical Engineer(s) 4. Structural & Civil Engineer(s) 5. Planning/Environmental Assessment Specialist The following may also be considered in the Design Team to value add specialist expertise to deliver the project: Landscape Architect Socio Economic Analysis Specialist Note: Only applicants capable of delivering all services listed above as a multidisciplinery team (whether in-house or as a grouping/consortium) will be considered.
