Lancashire Transforming Care Partnership Request for Information (RFI)

Tender description

Transforming Care is a national programme overseen by six national partners: NHS England, the Association of Adult Social Services (ADASS), the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Local Government Association (LGA), Health Education England (HEE) and the Department of Health (DH) that aims to ensure children, young people and adults with a learning disability and/or autism who display behaviour that challenges, including those with a mental health condition are able to establish the support they need in the community. In February 2015, NHS England publicly committed to a programme of closing inappropriate inpatient facilities. Lancashire has been selected as a Transforming Care Fast Track area by NHS England and therefore has progressed its transformation ahead of other regions in line with its plan Transforming Care; The Right Track published in 2015 http://www.lancashirenorthccg.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2015/10/Agenda-Item-9.0.-Lancashire-Fast-Track-Final-Draft-Plan-Submission-07-09-20151.pdf. The Lancashire Transforming Care Project consists of the following partner organisations: Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen Council, Blackpool Council, Greater Preston CCG, Chorley & South Ribble CCG, Blackpool CCG, Flyde & Wyre CCG, Blackburn with Darwen CCG, East Lancashire CCG, Lancashire North CCG, and West Lancashire CCG. This RFI has two purposes. 1. The first is to invite all potential providers and potential sub-contractors who may be able to deliver services within the scope of Lancashire’s Transforming Care Plan to a stakeholder event on 4th March 2016. Venue to be confirmed. The event will include presentations on the Transforming Care vision, background and context. The event will also provide a networking opportunity for providers to explore options for collaboration and further inform market development. 2. The second purpose of this RFI is for providers to indicate their experience, expertise and interest in relation to: a) developing innovative solutions that enable individuals with complex needs to be discharged from hospital and other secure services within the near future b) developing innovative solutions that enable individuals with complex needs to be supported effectively Suppliers wishing to engage in the RFI process should complete the questionnaire via the survey link and submit by 5pm on 22nd February 2016. Suppliers wishing to attend the event on Friday 4th March 2016 should confirm a place and name of attendee by 5pm on 26th February 2016 to j.martland@nhs.net indicating any dietary or access requirements. All providers will be informed of final details about time and location by this date.
