Tender description
Dublin City Council is the largest local authority in the Republic of Ireland, and delivers public library and archives services through a network of 21 branch libraries and a dedicated library and archives reading room in Dublin City Centre. Dublin City Public Library & Archive is planning a varied programme of activities for the Decade of Commemorations, including a major exhibition titled Proclaiming the Republic, focusing on the 1916 rising and its aftermath. The content of the exhibition will be drawn from the collections of the libraries’ Dublin & Irish Collections and the City Archives, and will include original and reproductions of documents, maps, photographs, ephemera, and artefacts.
