Stockport Metropolitan Council are looking to commission an Enhanced Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy Service There are three main aims of the service: • To support the needs of children with communication impairments by providing a range of Speech and Language therapy services that is effective, efficient and of high quality, underpinned by evidence-based practice • To support the needs of children with severe/significant motor/sensory impairments by providing a range of Occupational Therapy services that is effective, efficient and of high quality, underpinned by evidence-based practice and; • To build the capacity of staff within schools to be able to develop and deliver good practice, with appropriate support from professional therapists.
