Tender description
Direct payments are one of the tools by which people can take control of decisions about their care and support. The purpose is to enable individuals to exercise choice and control over how, when, and which services they have, allowing them to self direct their own support and maintain their independence. With this in mind, If the service user/carer is employing a personal assistance privately, it is a requirement that Independent Living Insurance (Employers Liability) is in place.
