Tender description

Teagasc is conducting a project to pilot methodology for the inclusion of farmland habitat assessments in sustainability schemes. Part of the pilot project will assess the reliability of using aerial imagery and/or ground-level photography for the identification of broad habitat types on Irish farmland. For a wide range of the most common farmland habitat types, another part of the project will produce text to briefly highlight positive wildlife features associated with habitat types, and to recommend general management practices that support and maintain wildlife in that habitat.
