The University requires a system with the capacity to unify all existing university research databases/systems onto 1 single platform and link into, and extract data from, a number of other core university systems such as HR and Finance thereby enabling: — The generation of reliable validated intelligence reports across all content to facilitate informed strategic decisions; — Accurate reporting on research KPIs at individual, RI, faculty or school level; — Accurate live feeds of research KPIs to the website; — Manage the full range of data associated with a REF submission (i.e.: staff, outputs, research grants and student data and impact) and display these appropriately on the website (i.e.: consistent web profiles for all staff in relation to their research activities) Further details were available within the Invitation to Tender Package.
