Tender description

Common Farm Tree Planting and Associated Landscape Works Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for a new woodland at land on Common Farm, Wroughton, Swindon, Wiltshire. Project Description Provision of a new woodland, specimen trees creating a central feature, associated perimeter fencing and provision of entrance gates and associated hardstanding. Contractor to maintain all planting for 5 years post practical completion. Full details relating to the Goods/Services/Works are provided in the tender documents. Contract Period 1st phase: Three initial tree planting phases be completed by 31st March 2016. 2nd phase: Fencing and access works to be completed by 30th September 2016 3rd phase: All remaining planting to be completed by 28th February 2017 Maintenance: Tree maintenance including beating up 5 years ending March 2022. Questionnaire/ Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 26th Feb 2016, 12:00GMT by hardcopy to Andrew Norris only. If you require any clarifications on the tender documents please submit these in writing via e-mail, including the project name clearly in the e-mail title, to Andrew Norris at anorris@swindon@swindon.gov.uk FROM 15/2/2016 12:00Noon, CLOSING 22/2/2016 12:00Noon GMT. The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor’s responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.
