Appointment of Consultants for Enhancing Character and Connectivity of Beddington Village

Tender description

The Council is looking to appoint suitable consultants (or a consortium of consultants) to undertake a Character Appraisal Study and design interventions that will improve Beddington Village and the surrounding residential areas. The project is part of a much larger Beddington Programme which includes six other projects that will deliver an Employment Hub, signage, engineering and place shaping solutions along Beddington Lane, and make Beddington Village a 20mph zone. Because the Beddington Programme has different streams of funding with varying time scales, it is being delivered in phases, the first of which is this project. For this tender we wish to appoint a Consultant or consortium of consultants to undertake the following areas of work: - Street and Townscape Character Appraisal - Conceptual Designs - Detailed Designs of selected proposals - Consultation and Community Engagement Keywords: Urban Design, Sutton, Architecture, Regeneration
