Breakdown and recovery services for motor vehicles

Tender description

The service provision to recover vehicles and other property, including storage, secondary movements and release, to meet the operational and strategic policing needs of the Police in the County of Kent. Other property will include but is not limited to large and heavy items of plant, equipment, and machinery. The Lots have currently been selected taking into account the Kent policing model, resilience, and the distance of travel to incidents for potential contractors and for access to vehicles by the organisation and the public, and also by light recovery (vehicles under 3.5 tonnes MAM) and heavy recovery (vehicles over 3.5 tonnes MAM).
