Tender description

Overview STFC is seeking to purchase a photo-excited electron gun, producing electrons of energy of at least 60keV, and potentially up to 100keV. The supplied product is to include electron beam focusing and steering magnetic or electrostatic optics and all necessary power supplies and control hardware. The laser source for exciting the electron emission is not part of this requirement; STFC will use its existing lasers for this role.
