Tender description

This contract is for the supply and delivery of marine grade timber suitable for use in construction of a timber groyne field replacement at Withernsea, in the East Riding of Yorkshire to a specified delivery schedule. The estimated contract value is approximately 640 000 GBP and the approximate total quantity of timber required is 500 cubic metres. Details of the timber sizes, quantities and specification can be found in the tender documentation which is available from https://www.yortender.co.uk Economic Operators should note the contract requirements governing the supply of timber in performing this contract. All timber products supplied to the Council in performance of this contract must be provided from a managed renewable source and certified as such. Economic Operators should also note the dates and quantities by which the timber must be delivered to the site address. Completed delivery within this time will be of the essence.
