Tender description

Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution Ltd, on behalf of itself, Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission plc., Southern Electric Power Distribution plc. and Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution plc. has awarded a Framework Agreement for the Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Networks Telecommunications Infrastructure in connection with the development of the respective electricity network(s). The goods and services comprise turnkey solutions for the design, supply and build of incremental telecommunications network infrastructure: — Primarily to replace BT legacy circuits with own infrastructure; — Secondarily to provide robust telecommunications infrastructure for further development of the telecommunications network as required by future projects.
