Teach First Leadership Development Programme Wales Initial Teacher Training Provider 2017 cohort (2017 - 2019) Teach First, registered charity No 1098294, seeks to secure an Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Provider for Wales to provide ITT and associated services as part of the Teach First Leadership Development Programme (LDP). For information, Teach First also operates a national programme across England. This contract is for Wales only. The Teach First programme in Wales is supported by, and delivered in partnership with, Central South Consortium. Teach First seeks a single provider. Each year, Teach First recruits a cohort of participants for a 2 year Leadership Development Programme. This agreement will be for 1 cohort: - Preparation during 2017: There will be a short preparation phase following award of contract and in advance of delivery as Teach First develops and introduces its new programme model in Wales. - 2017 cohort: The services start with Summer Institute in June 2017. Delivery continues for the academic years 2017/18 and 2018/19 culminating in the award of PGDE for participants. - Providers must also be interested in providing the services for the 2018 cohort and beyond, although this will be subject to separate contract(s). Teach First now invites suitable parties to bid to provide ITT to Teach First participants from 2017 as part of our Leadership Development Programme. Interested parties should complete the attached pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) and submit it to Teach First ProviderContracts@teachfirst.org.uk (see below for submission deadlines). Providers who meet these criteria will be provided with the Invitation to Bid (ITB) and associated documentation. PQQ Submission Deadlines: PQQs submitted between the launch of this tender and 23.59 on 21 December 2016 will be assessed and responded to within 1 business day. Any PQQs submitted from 22 December 2016 to 23.59 on 3 January 2017 will be assessed and responded to by 5 January 2017.
