Provision of Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Service for Richmondshire District Council

Richmondshire District is one of the largest districts in England. It has a population of 51,400 (according to the most recent information available on the Richmondshire District Council website) and covers 509 square miles. Richmondshire is one of the most sparsely populated districts with its boundaries stretching from the Rivers Tees to Cumbria. Richmondshire District Council are seeking suitably qualified contractors to provide a Light Fleet Maintenance Service to the council's fleet. The requirement will be for the supplier to provide both routine and non routine repairs, servicing and maintenance. RDC will require the supplier to offer a comprehensive service within and outside normal office hours. The term of the contract is 24 months with an optional 2 x 12 month extensions at the Council discretion. The tendering process will be electronic via the ProContract portal system.
