***This has been awarded to HPe Cairn Rd Bracknell RG12 1HN***ICT Shared Service require an understanding of available options and comparative TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis of providing multi tenanted hosting services in order to drive service efficiency and develop a commercial offering that continues to meet the needs of our customers. The summary scope of requirements document requires comparing in-house hosting service, performance and costs (including developing cost recharge models) with an options appraisal and associated costs for alternative hosting arrangements inclusive of public cloud IaaS/SaaS/Paas (Infrastructure as a Service/Software as a Service/Platform as a Service). To achieve this with any degree of accuracy is a complex task that requires considerable detail about the costs for internal hosting, the costs for each alternative option appraised (inclusive of network), the cloud provider's billing model and in each case the associated licensing and the characteristics of applications.
