Tender description

Birmingham City Council invites companies to tender for the renewal of the following insurance policies: Lot 1A Main Fire Policy (Including Terrorism Insurance) or Lot 1B Main Fire Policy (Excluding Terrorism Insurance) and/or Lot 1C Main Fire Policy Terrorism Insurance Only Lot 2A Industrial and Commercial Fire Policy (Including Terrorism Insurance) OR Lot 2B Industrial and Commercial Fire Policy (Excluding Terrorism Insurance) AND/OR Lot 2C Industrial and Commercial Fire Policy (Terrorism Insurance Only) Insurers are invited to submit a tender for either Lot(s) or sub- lots as indicated within the Tender Instructions. Lot 3 Museums Exhibits Policy Lot 4 Public Liability Policy Each lot will be awarded to one provider and will not be split by the individual insurance policies. The annual premiums for each risk are due to commence on 1st April 2017 and the contract will run for a period of up to three years. Provides the Council with insurance cover against loss or damage to its property assets e.g. offices, schools, leisure facilities etc and the catastrophic events of fire, lightning and explosion, together with damage resulting from terrorist actions. Provides the Council with insurance cover against loss or damage to its property assets e.g. offices, schools, leisure facilities etc. Provides the Council with insurance cover against loss or damage to its property assets e.g. offices, schools, leisure facilities etc. and the catastrophic events of fire, lightning and explosion, together with damage resulting from terrorist actions. Provides the Council with insurance cover on a fire and full range of perils basis (including the terrorism risk) against loss or damage to its industrial and commercial property assets which are let to external tenants. Provides the Council with insurance cover on a fire and full range of perils basis (including the terrorism risk) against loss or damage to its industrial and commercial property assets which are let to external tenants. Provides the Council with insurance cover on a fire and full range of perils basis (including the terrorism risk) against loss or damage to its industrial and commercial property assets which are let to external tenants. Protects the Council in respect of its responsibility to financially recompense third parties who provided their artwork on loan to the Council should it be damaged, stolen or destroyed. Provides an indemnity to the Council in respect of compensation claims received from third parties following personal injury or damage to property that falls outside of its existing levels of self-insurance, currently £250,000 per claim.
