Tender description

The Council wishes to implement an Approved Provider List (APL) for the Provision of Primary Care Services in General Practices in North Yorkshire. The APL is open for any Practice within North Yorkshire to apply. Practices that border North Yorkshire and have a significant practice population (30 % or over) of North Yorkshire residents may also apply. The Services to be commissioned through the APL are: — Alcohol Identification and Brief Advice (IBA); — Targeted Primary Care Sexual Health Service; — NHS Health Check Programme: Primary Care Provider; — Shared care drug misuse treatment and recovery service; — Pharmacological Abstinence Therapy Supervision Service for Alcohol Misuse. Further information regarding these Services is available in the Service Specifications. The APL will commence on 1.4.2017 and cease on 31.3.2022.
