East Sussex County Council intends to commission a service provider to design and deliver an integrated healthy lifestyle service which aims to support individuals in East Sussex to make changes to their lifestyle behaviours which will reduce their risk of developing conditions such as diabetes, cancer and heart disease which can lead to premature death. East Sussex County Council will hold a market engagement event to further describe the proposed service and to engage with potential providers in order to gather their views and to develop the service specification. The event will be held on 25.1.2017, 10:30 to 12:30 at County Hall, St Anne's Crescent, Lewes BN7 1UE. Organisations attending are asked to confirm their attendee details via the correspondence function on the South East Shared Services web portal. The integrated service will include: — One-to-one core behaviour change support (previously referred to as Health Trainer support); — Stop Smoking support; — Tier 2 weight management support for adults; — Community NHS Health Checks.
