Tender description

PIN for Provision of Digitisation Services for certain Valuation Records. The Office requires that property data relating to all outstanding rateable properties be digitised, coded and loaded onto the Valuation Office's computer system. This essential property data includes archive paper records, archive electronic files, hand written, bound hardback A5 notebooks. In addition the contractor will also code key data from these files and notebooks to be converted and loaded onto the computer system known as VOS The project will also require the capture of the plans and drawings associated with the relevant property, which could be a sketch plan in a notebook or a full set of drawings. The purpose of this PIN is to indicate that the Valuation Office intends to engage a contractor to carry out the digitisation, coding, indexing of indicatively 100 000 records. Reporting to a VO project board, the contractor would be responsible for the project management, quality assurance and delivery of the contracted services to required quality levels on a ‘turn key’ basis.
