Tender description
Newcastle City Council (NCC) and North Tyneside Council (NTC) issue blue badges to individuals with permanent mobility problems and organisations who care for people with mobility problems and who don’t have a blue badge in their own right. The scheme is national and is governed by guidance issued by the Department for Transport (DfT). NCC and NTC currently has a framework agreement in place with a provider to receive referrals from each Authority and undertake independent mobility assessments but this is due to expire on 31/03/2017.
