Tender description

NHS Continuing Health Care and Complex Care are delivered in Wirral and Cheshire by a single Service that covers five Clinical Commissioning Groups. The Service exists to ensure the robust and effective implementation and operation of NHS Continuing Health care and the commissioning of packages of care in line with various funding streams. At its core the service is patient focused and is now considering how it's infra structure will enable it to maximise customer service. The information received from interested parties will be used to inform future procurement processes for this service. The Clinical Commissioning Group is assessing the possibility of commissioning an organisation or organisations that will deliver flexibility, innovation and creativity in the provision of a Patient Administration System in order to hold service user related information and enable Clinicians to work at maximum efficiency. The scale of the current system is 21,000 electronic records and 100 staff users. Scope: 1. Patient information recording covering all stages of activity and flow. 2. Administration and data management. 3. Standard and user defined reporting. 4. Contract monitoring. 5. Patient safeguarding. 6. E-rostering patient reviews 7. Financial reporting and forecasting The estimated start and end date are 01/07/2017 to 30/06/2021 (2 years plus 1, plus 1 ). Through issuing this advert, South Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking feedback from the market on the possibility of tendering its Patient Administration System for the Continuing Health Care and Complex Care Service in Wirral and Cheshire. Interested parties should note that the Clinical Commissioning Group may seek further clarification and/or hold discussions with organisations who respond via the questionnaire. Please note, the Clinical Commissioning Group intend to use the information gathered to inform the options appraisal with regard to future tendering of the system. Participating in this exercise will not affect any party positively or negatively during any eventual procurement process and the Clinical Commissioning Group reserves the right not to proceed with any procurement process. Interested parties are further advised that any information submitted during the market sounding exercise will not form part of any eventual procurement process and that a failure to respond to this notice will not preclude them from responding to any future contract notice. The Clinical Commissioning Group will not meet any costs incurred by any party in responding to this notice. All responses will be treated as confidential.
